Your Healing Journey

What is osteopathy, and how is it different from other therapies?

Osteopathy is a hands-on, holistic approach that focuses on restoring movement and balance in the body—without drugs or invasive procedures. Unlike massage or chiropractic care, it takes into account your whole system: muscles, joints, nerves, and organs.

What conditions can osteopathy help with?

Osteopathic Practitioners can help if you are experiencing problems such as:

  • Neck and back pain and tension
  • Headaches
  • Sleep or energy issues
  • Sports injuries
  • Concussion
  • Injuries from car accidents
  • Repetitive strain injuries
  • Joint or muscle pain
  • Digestive, respiratory or menstrual problems
  • Pre and post-natal support
  • Jaw dysfunction
  • Pain relief
  • Increased range of motion
  • Increased circulation
  • Trauma healing
  • Hormonal balance
  • Decreased stress and tension
  • Improved posture

What should I expect during my first visit?

During your visit, your practitioner will begin with an initial screening interview and a brief evaluation to understand your specific needs. The treatment itself may be gentle and subtle or involve targeted physical manipulation, depending on your individual condition. You will also receive personalized recommendations for maintenance and self-care to help prolong and enhance the benefits of your treatment at home.

Do I need insurance to book my first appointment?

You do not need insurance to schedule your first appointment. While most insurance plans may cover my services, I do not handle insurance claims on your behalf. If you have insurance, you can submit the receipt I provide—with all the necessary details—to your insurance provider for reimbursement of my fees.
